Sts. Julienne and Basilia of Nicomedia, virgins and martyrs

Song of Solomon 8:14
Hosea 14:6-7
II Corinthians 6:16-7:1
Luke 8:1-3

Song of Solomon 8:14

[14] Make haste, my beloved,
and be like a gazelle
or a young stag
upon the mountains of spices.

Hosea 14:6-7

[6] his shoots shall spread out;
his beauty shall be like the olive,
and his fragrance like Lebanon.
[7] They shall return and dwell beneath my shadow,
they shall flourish as a garden;
they shall blossom as the vine,
their fragrance shall be like the wine of Lebanon.

II Corinthians 6:16-7:1

[16] What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will live in them and move among them,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
[17] Therefore come out from them,
and be separate from them, says the Lord,
and touch nothing unclean;
then I will welcome you,
[18] and I will be a father to you,
and you shall be my sons and daughters,
says the Lord Almighty.”

Chapter 7
[1] Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, and make holiness perfect in the fear of God.

Luke 8:1-3

[1] Soon afterward he went on through cities and villages, preaching and bringing the good news of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with him,
[2] and also some women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary, called Mag’dalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,
[3] and Joan’na, the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, who provided for them out of their means.
