Hebrews 10:32-36
Luke 10:21-24
Jeremiah 33:14-22
[14] “Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will fulfil the promise I made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah.
[15] In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch to spring forth for David; and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.
[16] In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will dwell securely. And this is the name by which it will be called: `The LORD is our righteousness.’
[17] “For thus says the LORD: David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel,
[18] and the Levitical priests shall never lack a man in my presence to offer burnt offerings, to burn cereal offerings, and to make sacrifices for ever.”
[19] The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
[20] “Thus says the LORD: If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night, so that day and night will not come at their appointed time,
[21] then also my covenant with David my servant may be broken, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and my covenant with the Levitical priests my ministers.
[22] As the host of heaven cannot be numbered and the sands of the sea cannot be measured, so I will multiply the descendants of David my servant, and the Levitical priests who minister to me.”
Isaiah 18:7
[7] At that time gifts will be brought to the LORD of hosts
from a people tall and smooth,
from a people feared near and far,
a nation mighty and conquering,
whose land the rivers divide,
to Mount Zion, the place of the name of the LORD of hosts.
Hebrews 10:32-36
[32] But recall the former days when, after you were enlightened, you endured a hard struggle with sufferings,
[33] sometimes being publicly exposed to abuse and affliction, and sometimes being partners with those so treated.
[34] For you had compassion on the prisoners, and you joyfully accepted the plundering of your property, since you knew that you yourselves had a better possession and an abiding one.
[35] Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.
[36] For you have need of endurance, so that you may do the will of God and receive what is promised.
Luke 10:21-24
[21] In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I thank thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to babes; yea, Father, for such was thy gracious will.
[22] All things have been delivered to me by my Father; and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and any one to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”
[23] Then turning to the disciples he said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see what you see!
[24] For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.”
