Arpi Nakashian

Assistant Director of Christian Education

Arpi Nakashian serves in the Department of Creative Ministries, specializing in using current technology to advance the diocesan educational mission to parishes and families. Arpi’s responsibilities include working on the Bread & Salt video and podcast series, development and implementation of bi-lingual educational resources, including SMART boards and Sharagan Karaoke, and she oversees the CrossTalk section of the Diocesan Ministries’ leadership newsletter: Vemkar.

Arpi holds a Master’s degree in General Theology and Armenian Church Studies from St. Nersess Armenian Seminary and St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from California state University, Stanislaus. Born and raised in Jerusalem, Arpi has also been actively involved in the Armenian Church in America, having taught in Sunday and Armenian schools, and having served as an ACYO-WD chairperson.
