Our Team

Christopher H. Zakian is the director of Communications for the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of America.  His work has taken him into all aspects of print and online publishing and video production.  Mr. Zakian was previously managing editor of The Armenian Reporter, and he continues to publish freelance articles on religion, politics, and the arts.  He is the author of The Torch Was Passed: The Centennial History of the Armenian Church of America (1998), and he has edited several other volumes, including three essay collections by the late pontiff of the Armenian Church, His Holiness Karekin I.  A native of Philadelphia, he currently resides with his wife and four children in New Jersey.
