Instructed Divine Liturgy
Great News! Your parish has decided to celebrate with an Instructed Divine Liturgy! The Badarak, the main worship service of the Armenian Church, provides one of the most intimate encounters we can have with God in this life. For this to take place, Badarak must be meaningful to those participating.
Today’s Instructed Divine Liturgy is designed to teach us about the Divine Liturgy at the most effective time – as it is unfolding. The commentary will pause the Badarak in progress five times after an initial introduction, and will cover basic terms and meanings.
Please remember that the priest does not celebrate the Liturgy for us, a passive audience. It is the Church that celebrates – priest and people together.
