Thus, a fortiori, God exists in our lives. How will our lives speak of God’s creative presence? When we find God’s presence in our hearts, feet, hands, eyes, bodies, pains, and temptations, it is hard not to speak the Only Begotten Word of our Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ.
The communion of grace is the reality in which our lives become genuine extensions of the very same life of God, reflecting the beautiful countenance of our Heavenly Father to all around us. That’s when we will accomplish the commandment of our Lord Jesus, which He gave to His disciples after His resurrection, breathing His Holy Spirit into them and, through them in us, to go and proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor. Confirmed with the same Holy Spirit in the sacrament of Chrismation, we too will announce the good news to all men, rich in human wisdom yet deprived of God’s power, freedom from all slavery, sight to the blind, and justice to the brokenhearted.
When we find God in our lives, we will become like Jesus, because we share His sonship in the order of grace. We will enter the time of our rejoicing, and our souls will be overjoyed, and no one will be able to take away our happiness in sharing Jesus with our lives (John 16.22-24). We will not need to ask questions of our Lord, because in Him our Father will grant us anything we ask in the Name of Jesus, and our joy will be full.
These are the words of Jesus. The moment our lives become the places God loves to dwell, we will carry the peace of God within us, and already in full union with the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus, our physical death will become the beautiful gate and entrance to the life of the New Covenant, the ante-chamber of the final resurrection and the fulfillment of Christ’s mission. The Passover of our Lord Jesus will be our own life, because nothing will separate us from the love of Christ (Romans 8.35).
We will become the raindrops of God’s life and holiness, irrigating the Father’s heavenly vineyard, like the dew of Hermon descending on Zion and on our beloved Armenian mountains (Psalm 132/133.3), commanding and teaching the holy and just Name of God to the world, so that His Love may cover all and become rooted in every creature.
